POOR LITTLE BUTTERFLY
Poor
little butterfly, dead on the wall
Pick him up Rose in a violet leaf
Then in a lily leaf, let him be bound
His coffin a pea pod, which Johnny has
found
In mother's flower pot, dig him a grave
And let the geraniums over him wave
Rest little butterfly, in your nice bed
A rose at your foot, A stone at your head.
