| Pre-heat your oven to 350f.
Line a cookie sheet with tin foil.
Then, line it with keeblers club crackers or saltines.
(Keeblers work better for me)
Set aside.
Melt 2 sticks of butter on the stove.
Add 1 cup of brown sugar, packed. (It won't mix too well,
but as long as both
are melted and hot.) Pour the mixture on top of the crackers
and spread as even
as you can get it, and pretty quickly; it hardens fast.
A rubber spatula works very well.
Bake the crackers now for 11 minutes at 350f.
After they come out of the oven, pour a bag of chocolate
chips over top.
(milk chocolate is sweeter, but mine are dark.)
Let the chips sit for a minute or two, they will melt
fast.
Smear the chocolate around now, to cover the whole sheet
of crackers.
Sprinkle the nuts on top.
Refrigerate until hard, about a half hour or so. Then
break apart and eat! |
